Claudia writes songs on acoustic guitar and ukulele, and records with dictaphones, mic'ed up ipods, blackberries, answering machines and protools... She is the vocalist for electronic act Substax.

Becoming a mum in 2006, Claudia started to tailor some of her songwriting for a younger audience. 'Lullaby Time', written for her son Dylan, was joint winner of the 2008 APRA Children's Song of the Year Award. Then daughter Ella Grace came along to become the muse for Claudia’s lullabies, and Dylan loaned his mum his ukulele for her four-string debut on 'Home Sweet Home', which was named the 2010 APRA Children's Song of the Year.

Claudia is currently working on her debut childrens release and a variety of associated projects.
